Run #1259 was the Killer Hill pub-crawl and first run of the 2016 Killer Hill weekend. The most eager Hashers were on station at the pub a good 1 hour 30 minutes before the run started. 7 p.m. came and went and rumours that the hares were delayed started circulating. After a few more beers, the hares made an appearance declaring that there would be some live haring. Some minutes after the hares had set off, ON-OUT was called and the Killer Hill weekend had started!

The hares used oatmeal to lay a meandering trail through Bergen City centre, up and down streets and through parks, before ending up at the bandstand in Byparken (The City Park). It seemed that the hares were carrying a keg, so an excellent mobile refreshment stop was on offer in the bandstand.

Five minutes after the hares had departed, the pack followed them. The trail took us across Torgalmenningen and ON-ON for a second drink-stop at Vågen pub.

The bus to take the pack to the Killer Hill venue was booked for 9.30 p.m. and not the usual 10 p.m., so after a rather short drink-stop ON-OUT was called and the pack headed back to the starting point for a quick beer before boarding the bus to the venue where the R.A. declared that the circle would be held after run #1260 giving us more time to enjoy the post-Pub Crawl party.
