Ulriken is the highest of the seven City Mountains and can be reached either by cable car or walking up the mountain. The cable car takes a few minutes to reach the upper cable car station at 607 m.a.s.l. but it takes anything up to one and a half hour to climb the mountain from the lower cable car station. The summit is a further 15-minute walk from the cable car station.
The picture above shows the view from the summit looking in the direction of the upper cable car station and adjoining restaurant with Bergen and the other City Mountains in the background.
