Run #1211 - Wednesday 19 August 2015
  • Destination: Krossfjellet
  • Hare: Camp Toilet
  • In the pack: Foggy Glasses, Flasher, Deep Throat, Bubbles, Muff Diver, Hara Kari, Guinea Pig, Teacher's Pet and Wet Finger
  • Pooch: Just Laps
  • Your scribe: Foggy Glasses

The weather was stunning as one of the smaller packs so far this year turned up for a run set by a stand-in hare.

We were told the trail included some virgin territory, and that turned out to be correct: the hare lost the trail in a dense forest and we found territory that probably had not seen a living thing for a very long time. Along the way, the pack split into two with two daring hashers taking a nearly vertical ascent to the drink-stop. The rest took the long and safer way to the drink stop.

A bunch of cows tried to join the run back to the ON-INN but we managed to out-fox them. In the circle, one hasher was punished for turning up in new shoes.

After the circle, we enjoyed a BBQ in the mild summer evening: at 1 AM, the temperature was still a warm 20.8°C.
