Finally, back in sunlight again for the whole run #1250! It must be at least 5 months since we last started and finished a run in daylight.

A less than average sized pack, it being the winter holidays in Bergen, congregated at the appointed petrol station by the appointed time.

The trail took us up to the top of Birkelundsbakken ('Birch Grove Hill', me thinks) and then down-down-down towards Myrevannet ('Bog Lake'), where the trail split into a runners and walkers trail. After a while, the pack merged and headed for Sanddalen ('Sand Valley') and ON-ON to the regular drink stop at Nesttun (literarily 'Lower (Farm) Yard') where we were treated to a rather disturbing sight of a Hasher dropping a pint glass full of beer on the floor. When the waitress turned up to clear up the mess, the pack assured her that we had NO idea who the chap was.

After the double drink stop, the trail lead us to the tram stop at Nesttun where we rode the rails to Slettebakken (literarily 'Hilly Area'). From there it was a short jog to the ON-INN having covered 12.3 km.

After the circle, the hare served a two-course meal, washed down with beer and single malt whisky (Ardbeg).

By the time I got home, it had started SNOWING!
