It was no small wonder that the smallest pack so far this year tuned up for run #1370 as it was held in the middle of the winter holidays and also on the coldest day so far this winter with temperatures dropping to a chilly -13°C. The hare and co-hare greeted all hashers, at least the hashers who made it to the start in time, with a gin and tonic each.

ON-ON was called and the pack set off into the dark and cold night. After a longish walk, which did include some virgin terrain, the pack found a bloody D and an arrow pointing to the hotel 'Edvard Grieg' at Sandsli where a double drink-stop was very much appreciated.

After a hearty discussion about the BH3 Hall of Fame, the pack reluctantly set off into the icy cold night. Waiting for us at the end of the trail, was a new marking: ON-(G)IN!

If the run were to have a theme, it would probably have been "A bloody affair" because the hares had used a Finnish concoction to mark the trail: mushed up beetroot and it looked like a bunch of incontinent vampires had been on a rampage in the area. The mind boggles to think what the police in Hordvik would have made of the markings!

After the circle, which was under the control of Comes Every Time, the stand-in RA, some warming nosh and what seemed like an unending supply of Gin and Tonic, were on offer. A great way of rounding off the evening.
