An excellent English breakfast revived the pack and after a few beers, ON-OUT was called and the pack headed for the bus that would take us to the start of the 2018 Killer Hill run from Sølvberget, not far from in Øyjorden.

After a short chalk-talk, the hares called ON-ON to start the 2018 Killer Hill run. The first part of the trail followed a steep path up to a road that until 1930 was the main road between Bergen and Åsane, before heading straight up another steep path and ON-ON in the direction of Kvitebjørnen for a refreshment stop at Ankerhytten. Everyone had been issued with a beer ration, and the first can was enjoyed whilst basking in sunshine at Ankerhytten.

After a while, ON-ON was called. The trail descended down to the road again and ON-ON to Storevannet and meandered along roads before hitting the final ascent to Fløyfjellet for lunch and a refreshment stop.

After the obligatory group photo, ON-OUT was called and the pack split into groups following different routes down the mountain. Only the group running past Skansen found the ON-INN. All others followed imaginary trails to Vetrlidsalmenningen and the waiting bus via different parts of Sandviken.

With everyone safely back at the venue, the circle was held. In addition to the 'normal' misdemeanours, a huge block of ice magically appeared in the circle, an opportunity the R.A. did not miss and a few Hashers ended up with frozen butts in the warm spring afternoon!

After the circle, an unending supply of gin-and-tonics and beer kept the pack happy until dinner and the 'Great Gatsby' party which lasted well into the wee hours of Sunday morning.

The traditional bonfire was lit after dinner and just in time as a complete moratorium on open flames was introduced the following day due to an unusually long warm and dry period with no rain for at least a month.
