Run #1242 - Wednesday 17 February 2016 | |
Run #1242 and back to the City Centre again. The hare had tried for a BH4 run (BH4 caters for the ones whose tastes and demands are slightly more refined than the average hasher hence the name Bergen High-end Hash House Harriers) but ended up laying a 'normal' BH3 run instead. A smallish pack, including two virgins: one visitor from Ukraine and one local, headed for the hare's abode for the run. The hare decided to do some live haring and set off five minutes before the pack. After some meandering around, we found the hare drinking beer at the first drink stop. Having downed his beer, the hare set off into the night with the pack following five minutes later. The trail was invisible in the dark, so the pack headed straight for what was hoped to be the second drink stop at Barbarrista. The hare arrived shortly before the pack, claiming to have laid a looong trail including sing stops. After the drink stop, the trail took us straight back to the ON-INN and circle, followed by some excellent nosh. During the nosh break, attempts were made to contact the four BH3 hashers at the Vindobonna Ski Week. Due to a very bad line, the hashers on the other end were completely unintelligible. |
