A large pack turned up more or less on time for run #1255 and Flip-Flop's hashy birthday run, late arrivals were blamed on the slow Internet.

We were promised a Killer Hill pre-lube run with multiple drink stops rounded off with a BBQ. After the Chalk Talk, the trail took us in the direction of Gravdal. Here we found the first of many splits, where the slow walkers headed off in the direction of Kvarven whilst the fast walkers and runners, headed up the mountain side past Øvrebø.

Halfway up the mountain a Swede had hung up a sign on a tree: "Mörderbacken", literarily 'Killer Hill'!

ON-ON we climbed until we reached another split. It seemed the runners were heading in the direction of Ørnefjellet ('Eagle Mountain') whilst the fast walkers headed for the drink-stop. The runners had a vodka stop at the summit, whilst the fast walkers enjoyed a beer at the drink-stop before the slow walkers and finally the runners joined up again.

Lubrication in the form of Polish vodka in addition to the beer was also on offer. Due to a cold wind, the hare sent us on our way before we were completely lubricated. The trail back to the ON-INN took us through the old coastal fortress at Kvarven.

It must be noted that Flip-Flop has the most professional equipment for the circle with his own mobile bar disk with Killer Hill beer on tap!

In addition to all the usual stuff in the circle, Bambi, Horse Pegasus and Check Me Out turned up in new shoes and were all celebrated with tea bags. After the circle, the pack got stuck into the BBQ. Some hashers drifted off home whilst the remaining pack headed indoors due to chilly wind and kept on celebrating well into the night before the hare finally fell asleep.
