Run #172 - Wednesday 27 October 1999 | |||||||||||||||||
Can't forget Backtracker's 100th run so here is version #2. The run started opposite Oasen in Fyllingsdalen went into a forest were the run virtually came to a halt - too many pussies in this hash. Anyway getting back down to the road we headed into a "adgang forbudt" area and another forest. Prior to this Mata Hari, Dr. Butt, Bubba, and Just Vivienne all managed to fall over (as hariettes do). There was a lot of helping "women and dogs", but the RA left this unpunished (shocking). Backtracker had a long PS in the next forest (not spotted by the RA) and nearly got lost on his way back to the pack. On leaving the forest Bubbles had to make a perilous jump of 0.5m from the forest onto the road - he made it!! On down the road again in pouring rain. Some hashers started winging because they wanted to watch a football mach (not real hashers) so we headed for the car park with admirable speed. Most of the down-down were held in Fyllingsdalen but as we had a hasher who had completed 100 runs we had to have a more formal ceremony in Dr. Butt's garden. Backtracker (or Backtracer as he is now known as there was a mistake on his mug) has shown himself to be a true hashers by running 100 runs with BH3. He got the pleasure in sitting on the ice for a considerable time. He desperately lit a cigarette to try to keep warm, but on the other hand it seemed as though he enjoyed the experience. Beer Stop had been calling Foggy Glasses' ice on his 100 runs "poofter ice" so he got to try it out as well. As the ice was encased in metal it was extra cold and half his bumfluff remained embedded in the block of ice after he stood up. Absolutely marvellous run and ice if I have to say so myself.
