Run #1225 - or 'The Mystery of the Vanishing Trail'

An expectant pack, including a visitor and a returnee, attended the hare's first attempt at laying a trail. We wondered whether the GM's prediction that virgin hares tended to be overambitious would be true or not.

The weather was fine but as always this time of year; it was pitch black.

After some meandering, the trail took us straight up Vindeggen on well-hidden and shiggy paths in the direction of the summit on Fløyfjellet. All made it more or less clean and dry up to the highest point of the trail for a well-deserved drink-stop not far from Aasebu.

From there the trail markings disappeared! According to the hare, someone must have been out with a broom and removed them; a story the pack found a bit far-fetched.

After many kilometres, we found the trail again as we descended down Tippetue heading for the ON-INN. In the circle, the stand-in RA doled out the usual punishments, including two tea bags for not so clean shoes after a run through shiggy.

Some excellent warming fare and chocolate rounded off the evening.
