A smallish band of hashers braved the chilling temperatures (some mentioned -12°C) and turned up at the ON-ON in the southern suburbs of Bergen. That is to say, one hasher did not make an appearance or answer his phone, and after some bone-chilling minutes, the hares had us ON-OUT.

Thankfully, the hares had laid on both a walkers and runners trail, that is to say, we think they had because the markings were not terribly visible. Some hares mix cocoa with flour when there is snow on the ground, today's hares had used blue road marking mixed with flour, making it light grey in colour; not very easy to spot in the snow!

However, the hares guided the packs safely to the drink stop, where we were treated to a display of northern lights, the very first time I have seen northern lights on a BH3 run! A short trail took us back to the ON-INN, were the lost hasher was waiting for us. Due to cold hashers, the circle was short, followed by some excellent and warming nosh.

ON-ON to some warmer weather!
