Run #1246 was according to the hares, a run with a theme and a mixture of BH3 (Bergen) and BH3 (Birmingham) markings. Nineteen Hashers turned up for the run, including the Birmingham GM as co-hare plus two returnees. The trail took us on a meandering route through the city centre, and after having stopped for the umpteenth time outside a school, some hashers suggested that the theme was old school buildings. The hare got so carried away that the well sign-posted first drink stop was dropped in order to run past a few more schools! At the backup-up drink stop, we were not allowed in because a member only party was in progress. So we headed for a backup to the backup drink-stop, where we finally enjoyed a beer or two. We were informed that heading back to the ON-INN, we should just pass the well sign-posted second drink-stop without stopping!

Perhaps the theme should have been "A Run of Lost Opportunities".

In the circle, a returnee, Lost Genie, was celebrated on the ice having completed 200 runs with BH3, Bergen H3 that is.
