Run #1422 was the traditional BH3 Christmas run through Bergen City Centre. Nineteen hashers, the average so far this year, turned up at "Huset Pub" in time for a pre-run beer and the run itself. Among them was a virgin, a Harriett's father, probably there to make sure that we all behaved ourselves.

ON-OUT was called a few minutes late due to some slow-drinking hashers and off we set in search of the Christmas tree hidden somewhere by the hares. After some searching it was located in Museumsparken on Nygårdshøyden. Mata Hari supplied the tinsel for the tree, and after decorating the tree, we headed back into town and to a virgin drink stop at "Apollon kaffe og platebar".

From there the trail took us to Torgalmenningen via Byparken (The City Park) for a rousing sing-stop. After the singing, we ended up at "Finnegan's" for some excellent beer and cider. After a little while, the chef and two helpers took a taxi back to the host's abode to make the final preparations to the Christmas dinner. The rest of the pack headed back to "Huset Pub" and a few more beers before the maxi-taxi transported us to the host's abode.

After the circle a traditional English Christmas dinner consisting of turkey, two different homemade stuffing, roast potatoes, peas, carrots, blanched Brussels sprouts, excellent gravy and two Finish side dishes followed by homemade Christmas pudding and custard, was much enjoyed by the pack.

We must be getting older, because by 2 a.m., the host had crashed and all revellers had gone home except for Foggy who danced the night away with imaginary women.
