Runs #1244 and #1245 constituted the 2016 Ski Hash.

A largish pack travelled by car and train to Geilo, a winter resort on the Bergen-Oslo railway line, in time for the start. A maxi-taxi transported the pack to the bottom of the slopes where a ski lift pulled us all ON-UP to the start of the cross-country ski tracks. The weather was wonderful and the trail excellent both for seasoned skiers and the not-so-proficient skiers.

The first drink stop was a mobile affair where some warming lubrication was enjoyed with some excellent vistas as backdrop. After a decent down some steepish hills, some more lubrication at the second drink-stop brought the spirits back up again. A further descent down-down, including conquering some small ski jumps, saw the pack safely back at the ON-INN.

A traditional After-Ski was had in the bar at Dr. Holms Hotel before heading back to Flasher’s abode and circle where Wet Finger was celebrated with her personal 50th run t-shirt.

In the meantime, the Danish invasion from ONH3 had found their way to Geilo to join us for some excellent nosh and the After-Ski party at Dr Butt's abode.
