Trash display - The Safe Haven for Bergen Hash House Harriers

Run #1253 was Just Paul's first try at haring, ably supported by Teacher's Pet.

On this damp evening, an average size pack, including a virgin and returnee, all made it in time for the ON-OUT. The trail took us along the lake, Bjørndalsvannet and ON-ON forest paths in the direction of Svartetjernet and Storemyren (Big Bog, a wet area and not the other type of bog). A mobile liquorice booze DS was on offer, this time midget free and not a re-run of run #1136.

ON-ON got us heading for Gamle Tennebekkveien (Old Tennebekk Road) and Lappeleiren where a Saami camp was erected in 1897 to attract tourists, these days a busy intersection on the main road from the west. Having been informed that a payable DS was planned, we headed in the only direction we could; towards Dolly Dimple Pizzaria at Badeland. Because the service is a bit slow, some Hashers had time for a double DS before we were sent on our way again

On the last part of the trail, there was a split with a runners and walkers trail before merging again at the ON-INN.

In the circle, the hare was baptised and had to forsake his given name Paul and hereafter be known as Pussy Sipper. Some new shoes were celebrated with a tea bag, as were a few other misdemeanours, before the evening was rounded off with excellent nosh, beer and multiple gin and tonics.
