With no coup in the offering, the pack turned up at the appointed hare's abode on Nordnes for run #1267. A returning visitor, Cockeye from San Diego, also made an appearance.

The hare offered: 50% Danish hare (flat trail??), 50% Danish virgin (territories??), 50% Danish nosh (rød grød med fløde??), 50% Danish drink-stop (beer??), 50% chance of rain (R U RA??), 50% chance of run starting on Natlandsfjellet (CET??) and 100% chance that the plans stick (HK??)

The trail took us on a meandering route around Nordnes. After a short while, we noticed that the hare's back was soaking wet, not from sweat but from a leaking mobile-drink-stop vessel. After some emergency repairs, two Harriettes resolutely stood in and took charge of said vessel.

We meandered our way through the City Centre, past Lille Lungegårdsvann, where one of the pooches dived in and went for a swim (yuk), before we finally ended up in the now-junkie-free Nygårdsparken for a well-deserved mobile refreshment stop.

Having emptied the vessel, ON-ON was called. The trail took us in the direction of the new pedestrian bridge across Puddefjorden but the hares had not kept abreast of the news that it would be closed for upgrades every evening in June. However, with the bridge in its up position, the false trail on it was clearly visible, as the hares had decided that crossing the bridge would have been a bridge too far. Instead, we headed over Nygårdshøyden and ON-ON to a drink-stop at Gjestehuset.

The trail back to the ON-INN was a short affair, followed by the circle and some excellent nosh washed down with beer and gin and tonics.
